"A document that has been issued, transmitted or received in a structured electronic format and that allows for automatic and electronic processing."
E-invoicing requires that data is created with a correct structure (defined by a European standard template) and then sent from the seller's system to the buyer's system. In this way, the invoice can be automatically imported into the public organisation's system.

"A qualified electronic signature applied to an electronic document is equivalent to the handwritten signature of documents"
A qualified signature or seal is mandatory for B2C/B2B transactions (e.g., when sending a PDF by e-mail). The qualified electronic signature, in addition to being a legal requirement in the cases indicated, guarantees the security, integrity and authenticity of the document.
